I interviewed William Carn last year where he talked a bit about “Reverence”. Here is a life performance of the Carn Davidson 9 of “For Oatts” from that album.
On Tuesday’s show, I also interview Laila Biali about her Juno-nominated album “Wintersongs”. There is also bonus content available on demand (just click the “Listen Now” button on the playlist page) that includes the rest of my conversation with Laila about her musical journey into jazz, her influences and her next project.
Here is “Pennies from Heaven” sung by two of the 2025 Juno nominees for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year — Laila Biali and Caity Gyorgy.
You can listen to the show live on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at 93.1 on the FM dial or online at CKCUFM.com. The show (including the bonus content) is also available for on demand streaming.
