YOW Jazz, April 15: Rachel Therrien's Latin Jazz Project - an interview plus a new release
On the show we will hear my conversation with Rachel and couple of tracks from her new release, "Mi Hogar II", plus some new jazz guitar releases
Rachel Therrien is a Montreal-based trumpet player and composer. Her new album “Mi Hogar II” is a a follow-up to “Mi Hogar”, released in 2023. This album, like the first, comes out of recording sessions done in New York, Toronto and Montreal. The album includes the following musicians:

I talked to her about her musical journey, the recording of the tunes on the new album and some of her influences.
